Historically Roseville consisted of “Old Roseville” and was a major rail and transportation corridor conveniently located just off Interstate 80, with quick access to Sacramento and the Sierra. Today, “Old Roseville” is being revitalized particularly along historic Vernon Street.
Homes in Roseville range from Victorian design near Vernon Street, to ultra-modern and high-end luxury homes close to the financial center along Douglas Boulevard. Roseville borders Rocklin, Lincoln, and Granite Bay, Loomis, Citrus Heights, and Antelope. Major growth with new homes and shopping are in the initial development phase in what is known as West Roseville – north of Baseline and west of Fiddyment Rd. Roseville also has a large and popular Sun City development with thousands of single story homes for seniors.
